Actor T.J. Miller says he has reconciled his feud with Ryan Reynolds. Miller recently told a podcast that he no longer wants to work with Reynolds because he was mean during the filming of the first two Deadpool films.
After Miller's statements, Reynolds contacted him to clear the air. Miller revealed this on the American radio show, Jim Norton & Sam Roberts. Miller, who plays Weasel in the Deadpool films, now speaks of "a misunderstanding."
He wanted to talk about his experiences with Reynolds and didn't think about the consequences. Miller did not expect the media to pick up the story. The actor is upset that the media only picked up on his negative experiences with the Deadpool star, while in the podcast The Adam Carolla Show he also mentioned Reynolds' positive traits.
The 41-year-old Miller talked about Reynolds' behavior on the set of the two Deadpool films. Reynolds allegedly behaved "terribly mean." He also allegedly continued talking to Miller outside scenes as if he were Weasel.
"He said to me, 'You know what's great about you, Weasel? You're not the star, but you do just enough to be funny and then we can go back to the real movie.'" Those words were reportedly said by Reynolds in front of the crew. For Miller, that was a reason not to work with Reynolds anymore.
The third Deadpool movie is due out in 2024. Whether Miller will make his appearance again anyway is not known.
