After he died in 2006, the property was put on the market and eventually acquired by British heiress Petra Ecclestone for $85 million.

Built in 1988, the mansion apparently has specific rooms for different purposes. With 56,500 square feet of living space, that’s totally possible. The manor has rooms designated for flower cutting, gift wrapping, and a bowling alley, just to name a few. It also reportedly has 123 rooms in total, with 27 bathrooms and 14 bedrooms.

Xanadu 2.0

Making it also on the list is Bill Gates’ massive property with an estimated value of $127 million. Located in Medina, Washington, it is known as Xanadu 2.0 (named after the protagonist in Citizen Kane). The mansion measures an astounding 66,000 square feet.

Apart from being massive, the mansion is also equipped with state-of-the-art technology, such as the 60-foot swimming pool that has an underwater sound system and even an underground cave. It also features seven bedrooms, 24 bathrooms, and a reception hall that can accommodate up to 160 guests.

This 4.3 acres estate was built in 1927 and features a total of 29 rooms. It also houses a wine cellar with a Prohibition-era secret door, a zoo, and a huge swimming pool area with an attached bar.
