Celebrities Who Married Their High School Or College Sweethearts

Everyone remembers that first naive romance that seemed like it would last forever. Usually, people get a rude awakening! For a lucky few celebrities, this dream became a reality when they married their high school or college sweetheart. And fans definitely want to hear about it!

Bono & Ali Hewson

It's incredibly uncommon, but Bono met his wife at the tender age of 12! The future rock star and Ali Hewson met at their Dublin school, and they never really separated. Fans are curious: Who is the woman Bono can't seem to live, with or without, behind the scenes?

Ali has long been involved in anti-nuclear work, promotion of fair trade, and children’s issues. Both husband and wife are pretty busy in their own fields, without a doubt. What are they up to, these days?

Next: The puppy love that lasted all the pressures of Hollywood, revealed!

No Ordinary Love

It's impressive, really. The famous Irish couple is still going strong after over 30 years of marriage. Bono and Ali have four kids together and split their time three ways in Ireland, France, and the US. But they never forget where they started!

Sharing a sweet anecdote about his wife, Bono said: "She just repeated what she's been telling me since we were teenagers, which is, 'Don't look down at me but don't look up at me either. Look across to me. I'm here.'" The charm of these two is endless!

Ron & Cheryl Howard

Yet again, a famous couple that met on campus. Famous director Ron and true love Cheryl got married in their early 20's. Even though they're now both over 60 years old, they're still keeping the flame alive! What's their secret?

Throughout the whirlwind of Happy Days, their love only grew stronger and stronger! Ron shared: "I felt really lucky when we met. It's crazy -- we were teenagers, it shouldn't have worked. We got married young, that shouldn't have worked either, and yet it really and truly has." Seems so! What kind of life have they built together over forty years now?

Married With Children

Outside of the movies, this Hollywood man has been busy with his personal life. As many know, Ron and Cheryl Howard created a family! They have four children: Bryce Dallas Howard, Paige Howard, Jocelyn Carlyle, and Reed Cross.

If Bryce sounds familiar, she is definitely the gorgeous redhead from The Help and Jurassic World. Bryce is pretty close with her director father, too. On Instagram, she shared a special holiday message: "Happy Father’s Day to the ultimate Dad:). As far back as I can remember - my favorite thing on the planet has been to get to simply hang out with you. I love you so damn much and am so proud to be your kiddo." Adorable, Howards!

Lauren Atkins & Thomas Rhett

Country music star Thomas Rhett and his wife, Lauren, met in the first grade! But for the majority of their youthful years, they remained friends. They briefly dated at age 15, but the first attempt failed. Lauren and Thomas stayed BFF's, instead.

Or did they? In their late teens, they each almost got married to other people. But Rhett's future father-in-law intervened: "Her dad called me and said, 'If you don't come over here tonight and tell Lauren how you feel about her, then I'm going to tell her how you feel about her." What happened after the ultimatum?

After All This Time

The couple got engaged after only 6 months of dating and wed in 2012, at age 22. According to dad: "When I saw them stare at each other the entire 20 minutes they were saying their vows, it's like these two people are meant to be together."

Lauren and Thomas recently welcomed their first daughter, Willa Gray, adopted from Uganda. Their second daughter and first biological child, Ada James, joined the family in August 2017. Meanwhile, Rhett's new album, Life Changes, has been well-received by fans. The most successful song, "Marry Me," is based on his marriage and family. Not surprising!

LeBron James & Savannah Brinson

This duo has been together since high school and tied the knot in 2013. LeBron James and his wife Savannah Brinson started their romance during their school days, and stuck together through James' rise through the NBA.

According to LeBron: “The only reason why I can do what I do at the highest level both on and off the floor is because my best friend got my back regardless the outcome! I’m just the car, she’s the engine! Appreciate you Wonder Woman aka Queen.” The pair apparently had their first date at Outback Steakhouse, where they grabbed a simple dinner. Nowadays, they probably eat elsewhere: The three-time NBA champion is worth over $275 million!

A Sports Prodigy and His Love

LeBron has publicly reflected on his childhood, back in Ohio: "Where I grew up - I grew up on the north side of Akron, lived in the projects. So those scared and lonely nights - that's every night. You hear a lot of police sirens, you hear a lot of gunfire. Things that you don't want your kids to hear growing up."

Over 15 years later, LeBron and Savannah are still happily married with three kids. They all often attend LeBron's games, to the delight of fans. The youngsters hear cheers, mostly! And maybe it was always meant to be: LeBron and Savannah actually studied at rival high schools in Akron, where they grew up as the sports prodigy and the cheerleader. What a match!

U.S. Vice President Mike Pence & Karen Pence

Election 2020 means it's time to revisit the biography of Vice President Mike Pence. Turns out, he's been in love for a long, long time. Since his college days, in fact!

Karen met the future VP in Indianapolis, way back in 1983. Both attended St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic church, where she was a guitar performer. Mike got her phone number from her sister, and the youngsters went ice skating for their first date. Less than a year later, he proposed with a hidden engagement ring in the middle of a loaf of bread! How are things going, these days with all the stress of public life?

Hoosiers Forever

Good news, for Karen and Mike. True love can last! According to the VP: "She's the best part of my life...Everything we do in public life, we do together. I can't imagine it any other way."

As it turns out, these are not just sentimental words. The Vice President has long held a rule that raises some eyebrows: Karen is the only woman in the world he allows himself to have dinner with! Perhaps it has insulated him from rumors that other politicians face, all the way up to the White House. Unconventional, but who can argue it isn't scandal-proof?

Julia Louis-Dreyfus & Brad Hall

Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Brad Hall celebrated 32 years of marriage this June. Last year, the Veep star honored the special occasion with a throwback pic. The caption said it all: "31,000 years ago today, I married my current boyfriend."

The two met at Northwestern University in the early 1980's. Brad was producing a college theater production and Jules came to audition. The rest is history! These lovebirds wed in 1987, and have been standing by each other through thick and thin. As the actress battled breast cancer in 2018, Brad was there in sickness and in health — for real!

A Quirky Love

Today, the couple shares two sons: Henry, 26, and Charlie, 21. And the happy family always seems to be all smiles, despite health challenges in the house. Fans are curious: How did Julia really know that she found the right man, way back when?

According to the comedienne: “He looked like Björn Borg or something...I remember thinking early on that this was the guy for me, but I didn’t dare tell anyone, for fear they would say, ‘That’s ridiculous. You’re so young — you don’t know what you’re talking about.’ So I kept that little secret close to my heart.” Brad is relieved it was not for long, thankfully!

Jon Bon Jovi & Dorothea Hurley

It may break hearts to learn that Jon Bon Jovi has, in fact, has been married for most of his career. But that's just too bad, ladies! Dorothea Hurley is the love that lasted, and it's still going strong.

Jon and Dorothea wed in a Las Vegas wedding chapel, and have been together for almost 30 happy years now. And since that quickie ceremony, they have been busy building a family alongside a musical legacy. Jon and Dorothea have one daughter and three sons. Plus, tons of shows! How do they manage it all?

I'll Be There For You

In an interview with People magazine, Dorothea revealed the secret to their successful marriage. She has spent the last 27 years by the stage, watching the concerts! Supporting her man is a no brainer, since he sounds like Jon Bon Jovi.

The suave rocker married his high school sweetheart Dorothea Hurley in a secret trip during his Jersey Syndicate Tour in 1989. It was just necessary! According to Jon: "She’s the glue...I’m the crazy visionary with all kinds of things flying, and the seams are all splitting. She’s the one following me with the glue and the thread and needle, keeping it all together.” Romantic, but not surprising to hear!

Prince William & Kate Middleton

Yes, William and Kate have been in the headlines for more than a decade now. They've actually known each other for a very long time! How did they meet, originally?

According to the Prince: "We obviously met at university, at St Andrews. We were friends for over a year first and it just sort of blossomed from then on. We just spent more time with each other, had a good giggle, had lots of fun and realized we shared the same interests and just had a really good time." Seems so! But is it still true, after all these years?

Prince Charming is Real

William and Kate have formally taken on royal titles: Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William, Duke of Cambridge. And they've since become mom and dad! But they still do seem to have the old spark, traveling the world and representing England.

At home, the college lovebirds both seem to enjoy domestic life. According to William: "It is fantastic having a lovely little family and I am so thrilled. Catherine has been doing an amazing job as a mother and I'm very proud of her." So far, that includes three royal births: Prince George of Cambridge, Princess Charlotte of Cambridge, and Prince Louis of Cambridge. Little kids, big titles!

Eminem & Kim Scott

Now here's a celeb who married his high school sweetheart not once, but twice! Eminem and Kim Scott met in high school, while he was standing on a table with his shirt off rapping LL Cool J's "I'm Bad". The perfect hip hop love story!

Kim and her twin sister moved in with Eminem when he was 15 as they ran away from home. They began their on-and-off relationship and had a daughter, Hailie, born in 1995. Mom and dad married in 1991 and divorced two years later. Sounds tumultuous, but that was not the end! What happened next?

Love The Way You Lie?

It seems Em has had mixed feelings on marriage, or at least on Kim. He once exclaimed: "I would rather have a baby through my p**** than get married again." Yet, he and Kim remarried for a short while in 2006!

According to both Eminem and Kim, the two maintain a friendly relationship nowadays. They have a daughter, after all! Kim has actually acknowledged some kindness: "He's been real supportive...We're really close friends. We're just trying to raise our kids together and make it as normal for them as possible." Perhaps they have reached harmony, as mature adults. Stranger things have happened!

Samuel L. Jackson & LaTanya Richardson

This couple is already celebrating their 40th anniversary! Samuel L. Jackson and LaTanya Richardson have been lovebirds since they were very young. Just how young?

As it turns out, they met in college. Samuel attended Morehouse and LaTanya was a student at Spelman. They said "I do" back in 1980, and welcomed a daughter two years later. Sam credits the success of their marriage with a mutual affinity for show business! But they've had some real challenges over the decades together, and it wasn't all smooth sailing. What happened?

Rules Of Engagement

Fans may not know that their favorite actor actually has quite a history with drugs. He OD'ed on heroin several times, and then moved to cocaine. His family sent him to rehab!

According to Sam: ''I guess the worst day I have had was when I had to stand up in rehab in front of my wife and daughter and say 'Hi, my name is Sam and I am an addict.'" But since then, with LaTanya's support and a clean lifestyle, things have really improved: Samuel L. Jackson picked up the Lifetime Achievement Award at the BET Awards, recently!

French President Emmanuel Macron & Brigitte Marie-Claude Macron

The current prez over in France is part of a love story that has raised eyebrows abroad. While everyone loves a good high school sweetheart story, this one is distinctly different. Très bizarre, even!

Emmanuel Macron met his wife in high school, alright — but it was his high school teacher! Yes, literature teacher Brigitte left her marriage to be with her student. Today, she is the First Lady of France! Now in her 60's, she met the future leader when she was 39 and he was only 15. But what exactly did they have in common, back then?

Hot For Teacher

Emmanuel and Brigitte had an intellectual affinity from the start. The power couple has gone straight to the top ever since, if anyone doubted their fit as a team. According to one campaign adviser: "Her presence is essential for him."

Brigitte Macron was actively involved with her husband's presidential campaign, and that might have been more than just emotional support. Many may not know that the former schoolteacher once tried her own hand at public office, in 1989. Brigitte unsuccessfully tried to get a seat on the city council of Truchtersheim. No, it didn't work out  but it was probably great prep for the big time!

Heather Morris & Taylor Hubbell

Glee star Heather Morris met her now-husband back in high school. When Heather moved to LA, she noticed that a very single athlete contacted her on MySpace. Ooh la la! She began dating the hunky Taylor Hubbell while he was a college baseball player.

It was pretty clear where she wanted thing to go, very quickly. In an old interview, she exclaimed: "I want to marry him so bad. That's what I really care about. I want to marry Taylor and have kids with him. I love acting, but if it affects my relationship, then I won't continue doing it." Did that work out as planned, or what?

Field of Dreams

Well, it seems like Heather's wishes did come true with Taylor! She has two children with the hubby and has maintained an acting career through it all.

On Instagram, Heather shared: "After 13 years of love and 5 years of marriage today, I love to still look at you this exactly same way, just as I have when we first met. You are my biggest advocate and constantly teach me things like patience, understanding, how to chill on weekends, how not to use a glass cup in an ice bucket, gardening...and a million other little things, I love that our love for each other keeps growing deeper." True love, no doubt!

Rainn Wilson & Holiday Reinhorn

Though his on-screen match on The Office is the uptight Angela, Rainn Wilson is married to Holiday Reinhorn in real life. A much better match, fans say!

These college sweethearts met in an acting class at the University of Washington in the mid-'80s. Both were Pacific Northwesterners to begin with, since Holiday grew up in Portland, and Rainn grew up in Seattle and Olympia. The quirky pair were got hitched on the banks of the Kalama River in a Baha'i ceremony, way back in 1995. That's Washington, for out-of-towners! What are they up to, nowadays?

Silly But Spiritualist

Rainn and Holiday Reinhorn waited almost 10 years after the wedding before they had their son, Walter. And these days, they are all enjoying life as a Baha'i faith family despite its rarity in Hollywood.

According to Rainn: "I never pressured her to join the faith. But she started attending Ruhi (a curriculum based on the Baha'i Writings) classes in the L.A. area and became interested. And the birth of our son, Walter, now 2 1/2, was such a miracle that she found herself saying prayers and spiritually connecting to the faith. She became a Baha'i in 2004. We pray with Walter every night before he goes to bed." Perhaps the family that prays together, stays together?

Mark Zuckerberg & Priscilla Chan

Though a tiny bit of their love story was in The Social Network, it's hard for outsiders to explain the romance between Mark Zuckerberg and wife Priscilla Chan. What does the founder himself have to say about the matter?

After starting a prototype called Facemash, he met his future wife at a college frat party. He reflects: “My best memory from Harvard was meeting Priscilla...Without Facemash, I wouldn’t have met Priscilla, and she’s the most important person in my life, so you could say it was the most important thing I built in my time here." And it seems he hasn't changed his tune! What are these two up to, years later?

It All Started At A Frat Party

Many may not know that Priscilla is actually a pediatrician. She is the daughter of refugees and grew up speaking fluent Cantonese. Her high school classmates called her the class genius!

It's no surprise that the uber successful pair got married in a surprise wedding ceremony in their Palo Alto backyard in May 2012. And now, they have a son! According to Mark: "The thing that I'm most proud of and the thing that brings me the most happiness, is my family." Regularly posting updates on social media, he's a proud dad, for sure!

Prince Charles & Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall

While Lady Di got all the press, a blissful, young 18 month affair with a posh girl named Camilla Shand made quite an impression on Prince Charles. At a party in the 1970's, she opened: "My great-grandmother was the mistress of your great-great-grandfather. I feel we have something in common."

Despite love letters and all night phone calls, a rule existed that the future Queen must be a virgin. Rumor has it that the royals simply ruled out Cam for having previous boyfriends! Even after Charles got married to Diana, he really never forgot his first college-aged big love. Would they ever unite in this life?

Together At Last

Many decades later, it was undeniable: Camilla was his destiny, and damn the rules! In 2005, the older couple had a civil marriage. Now the Duchess of Cornwall, she helps the Prince with official royal duties. And she has a few of her own, too!

Camilla is actively involved in numerous charities, with a special focus on osteoporosis, sexual abuse, animal welfare, literacy, and poverty. With busy schedules, things could get stressful. But Charles feels lucky"It's always marvelous to have somebody who, you know, you feel understands and wants to encourage. Although she certainly pokes fun if I get too serious about things. And all that helps." Stiff upper lip joy, indeed!

Mariano Rivera & Clara Rivera

Mariano Rivera moved to the U.S. and became a baseball star. Born in Panama, he eventually became a New Yorker with the Yankees. Now in his 40's, he's still with the same girl from elementary school!

It's likely that fans are not totally aware of his romance with wife Clara. But it's a story worth hearing! The two met as kids in Panama, dated as teens, and got married even before his baseball dreams came true. Mariano and Clara knew they found the right match, and they wanted a family. How big is it, so far?

Big Kids Now

According the sports star: “Wherever I am, at any time, whether I am surrounded by fancy walls or no walls. I don’t need anything but the love of the people who matter to me. It’s how I choose to look at life.”

Today, Mariano and Clara have three sons: Jafet, Jaziel, and Mariano III. It is Mariano III that has actually followed in his father's footsteps, pitching for Iona College before getting drafted to the big league. Today, he plays for the Washington Nationals in the nation's capital! Clara is total baseball wife turned baseball mom, and it appears she wouldn't want it any other way.

LL Cool J & Simone Smith

LL Cool J will always be a classic in hip hop. Retro fans know that this stage name stood for Ladies Love Cool James. According to LL: ''I've never been one to have to manipulate women. I always want it to be like a mutual thing, like everybody loves everybody.''

Perhaps he was always a good boyfriend. The aspiring rapper was set up with a nice gal named Simone by a friend in the early 80's, and they really hit it off! Now, with 23 years of marriage behind them, LL Cool J and Simone Smith are marriage veterans. What lessons can they share, in the world of love?

In Sickness and in Health

Today, LL and Simone have four children together. They're even grandparents! But in 2004, Simone was diagnosed with a rare type of bone cancer. LL stopped everything to be with her and help her on the road to recovery!

Simone shared: “I was in utter disbelief when I received my stage III diagnosis, but what I quickly learned with the support of my husband and family, was that cancer was not something that I had to let consume my inner being or personality.” Thankfully, Mrs. Cool J is celebrating 15 years of recovery with a campaign called “Beat Cancer Like A Boss”. And LL is still right by her side, as always!

Elizabeth Banks & Max Handelman

On her first day at school at the University of Pennsylvania, Elizabeth Banks locked eyes with future hubby Max Handelman. Who exactly is this non-Hollywood, mystery man Liz loves so much?

Banks’ husband, Max Handelman, is a sportswriter and producer from Portland, Oregon. Both worked together in launching a film production company, Brownstone Productions. According to Liz: “He worked an 80-hour week; I was traveling all the time in a career that requires me to film on location for up to six months of the year...Forming the company really was about trying to combine our professional and personal goals.”

A UPenn Success Story

And the marriage has just gotten better and better, according to the actress: “Twenty-seven years. It’s the thing I’m most proud of...I do think people grow together or they grow apart. We definitely grew together. We were constantly making decisions that kept us close.”

What kind of decisions? Today, the couple is raising two sons, both through a surrogate. Reflecting on her ongoing project of love, the actress shared: “I think there are people that go into marriage thinking: ‘If it doesn’t work, I’ll get divorced.’ That’s not me...You’re going to have bad moments. You’ve committed to something. Do you value it or don’t you?” Wise words. Liz!

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee & Janet Huckabee

Mike Huckabee has been a governor and a TV host, but he has been a husband even longer. Another high school sweetheart story, coming right up: Young Mike and Janet, this time.

At age 18, the future politician married his life partner. Both so young, there was no money for a ring. Mike actually slipped a soda can tab on Janet's finger, instead! Their first date was cheeseburger fun at a local truck stop where both grew up in Hope, Arkansas. A small town name and story almost tailor made for stump speeches! What are they up, now more than 40 years in?

Praying and Staying Together

Mike Huckabee is always deeply involved in something GOP, like advising daughter Sarah Huckabee Sanders as a recent White House Press Secretary. But he knows that a spouse always needs TLC, no matter the political season. What's his husband strategy?

He explains: "I treat my wife very differently than I treat my chums and my pals. I wouldn't worry about calling them on Valentine's Day, opening the door for them, or making sure they were OK." Probably not is right. It's unlikely ally Donald Trump is waiting for a Valentine. Smart instincts, Governor!

Joey Fatone & Kelly Baldwin

Joey Fatone rose to fame as a member of the boyband NSYNC, but we most recently know him from his participation on "Dancing with the Stars".

Fatone married his high school sweetheart, Kelly Baldwin, in 2004 in a ceremony attended by all his bandmates. He and his wife have two daughters, Briahna Joely and Kloey Alexandria.

Bye Bye Bye

Though the couple have been married since 2004, their relationship before that was 10 years long and of the on-and-off type.

Earlier this month, Fatone filed divorce from his wife and even showed up with girlfriend Izabel Araujo to a red carpet event. He's apparently been dating Araujo for the past four years. Bye, Bye, Bye Kelly!

Timothy Olyphant & Alexis Knief

When actor Timothy Olyphant attended the University of Southern California, he met the love of his life, Alexis Knief.

They were already married in 1991, at the age of 23 - straight out of college! While many college relationships dwindle straight after graduation, Olyphant's marriage has been going strong to this day, nearly 30 years later.

For Many Years To Come

The couple lives in Westwood, Los Angeles and have three children together: Grace Katherine (born 1999), Henry (born 2001) and Vivian (born 2003).

Olyphant is a low-key actor, barely ever talking publicly about his personal life or his relationship. But if the longevity of their marriage is any indication, things are simply going well for the two!

Robin Thicke & Paula Patton

Apparently, American singer-songwriter Robin Thicke ruled the dancefloor of an LA teen night club when he was in high school. That’s where he met his future wife, Paula Patton, back in 1993.

Twelve years after meeting in high school, the couple walked down the aisle and in 2010, they welcomed a son. Patton is an actress famous for her roles in Hitch and Precious.

A Troublesome Split

But the long-term pair didn’t remain happy for long. In 2014, ugly divorce proceedings began. Patton accused Thicke of domestic violence, infidelity, and substance abuse.

They were together for over 21 years and married for almost nine before filing for divorce due to irreconcilable differences.

Snoop Dogg & Shante Taylor

Snoop Dogg and wife Shante Taylor recently celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary, an impressive milestone for any couple. But being together hasn’t always been an easy ride. Over the past 20 years, the pair have had their share of ups and downs.

Snoop and Shante met in high school, a long time before Snoop's fame. On August 21, 1994, they welcomed their first child, son Cordé. But before the pair had officially settled down they already faced some issues.

Happily Ever After?

Snoop even filed for divorce from Shante on May 21, 2004, due to "irreconcilable differences".  But while reflecting on that difficult time in an interview, Shante revealed that her husband “didn’t know” what he actually wanted at the time.

But the rapper promised to himself that would never happen again “God is good… I understand that I need my wife and my kids in my life. So, I threw the papers away,” he said. “I don’t want to get a divorce. So if you hear about a divorce, it’ll be my wife divorcing me; it won’t be me divorcing her.”

Jarome Iginla & Kara Iginla

Jarome Arthur-Leigh Adekunle Tig Junior Elvis Iginla is the name, hockey is the game. But for short, fans know him as just Jarome Iginla. Understandable, with that mouthful! Who is the lucky lady all signed up to be an Iginla, too?

After 1500 games in the NHL for a number of different teams, one might think all that moving around made love difficult to pin down. But no! Jarome married his high school sweetheart in 2003, Kara. And shockingly, they really started dating in 8th grade!

Both Scored Big

The NHL Hall of Famer and goal king has been pretty busy professionally, but he clearly made time to build a family. Kara has given birth to three children so far!

These days, there's plenty for the family to do together. The whole clan is often seen at sports events together, especially since the kids seem to be at an age where they can follow along. The whole story has been heartwarming to fans and foes alike!

Catelynn Lowell & Tyler Baltierra

Fans have been following this couple's journey since MTV's "16 & Pregnant" and "Teen Mom OG". Being teen parents is never easy, and they have had their share of ups and downs. But despite it all, they've lasted a remarkable 14 years together, impressive considering their intense circumstances.

The couple have withstood teenage pregnancy, giving up a child for abortion, subsequent pregnancies, the birth of three children, engagement, marriage, a miscarriage, divorce rumors, another baby, and most recently (as of June 2019), Catelynn said she and Tyler should split up for good.

Rollercoaster Relationship

So almost 15 years since we first met them on Teen Mom, the couple is still together and are the parents of two girls, Novaleee Reign and Vaeda Luma.

But it seems the couple is heading towards a divorce, nowadays. They split up temporarily a few months ago but Catelynn seems content with the idea of moving on. She said, "I think it was good for me, looking back at it now, realizing if he ends up wanting to divorce me, I guess, whatever. I'll be sad but I don't f—king need you. I can do this on my own."

Lindsay Arnold and Samuel Cusick

Lindsay Arnold is a fan favorite on So You Think You Can Dance. But besides performing in the spotlight, the Latin and Ballroom dancer also works as a choreographer for Dancing with the Stars.

Arnold married her high school sweetheart, Samuel Cusick, on June 18, 2015, in a private ceremony of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Fellow Dancing with the Stars dancers were among her bridesmaids.

Happily Ever After

"It was a beautiful wedding and to see Lindsay and Sam so in love is what we should all be so lucky to feel," the dancer's rep tells us.

Lindsay took to Instagram ahead of the wedding express her excitement, captioning a sweet pic with her now hubby "Perfect day."

Taylor and Natalie Hanson

Pop musician Taylor Hanson met his wife back when they were in college age. Though they didn't technically meet in college, the two are certainly young sweethearts who still stand by each other's side.

The artist is best known as a member of the pop-rock band Hanson and is also the lead singer of supergroup Tinted Windows.

Full House

Hanson is the second of seven children, so perhaps it isn't such a surprise that he himself chose to build a big happy family.

Taylor Hanson and wife Natalie recently welcomed a new baby boy called Claude Indiana Emmanuel. The boy joins daughters joins Taylor Hanson and wife Natalie's daughters Wilhelmina, 6, and Penny, 13, as well as sons Viggo, 10, River, 12, and Ezra, 16.

Mariano & Clara Rivera

While most of the couples here have been keeping the flame going since their high school or college days, the following pair met in elementary school! Mariano Rivera has been married to his wife, Clara, since 1991.

The pair have three sons together: Mariano III, Jafet, and Jaziel. They all lived in Panama until 2000, before relocating to Westchester County in New York and later to Rye, NY, where they currently reside.

Playing The Field?

In February 2019, allegations that Rivera had a second family arose. A Panamanian woman accused him of failing to support their alleged children financially. She accused him of having a boy  (11) and a girl (15) with her out of wedlock and failing to pay child support.

The sportsman dismissed the demands as unfounded and we're still waiting to hear what will happen with the five lawsuits filed against him in his native country. So far, it looks like the couple is unbothered by the claims. Good luck to the Riveras!

Eli Manning & Abby McGrew

Eli Manning is famous for leading the New York Giants to a number of Super Bowl wins. But when he's not out on the field, Manning is a husband and father.

Abby McGrew and Manning met back in their college days at Ole Miss when she was a freshman and he was a junior.

Still Together

McGrew is a philanthropist and has a vibrant fashion career. The pair tied the knot in 2008 at the One & Only Palmilla resort in Los Cabos, Mexico.

They have three daughters together: Ava Frances born in 2011, Lucy Thomas born in 2013, and Caroline Olivia born in 2015.

Ja Rule and Aisha Murray

Ja Rule was the biggest name in town around the millennium era, and many may have assumed he was dating up a storm. Au contraie! Ja actually married his high school sweetheart right at the height of his fame in 2001!

Lovely lady Aisha Murray became Aisha Atkins after that ceremony. That;s because her husband's name isn't really Ja Rule! His driver's licence says Jeff Atkins! Not so edgy, and it seems like he knew it.

I'm Real

The pair actually met in junior high, believe it or not. They both went on to Martin Van Buren High School in Queens, and it's clear they never lost touch. A match made in heaven, no doubt!

They decided to get married when they were both 25. Today, they have three kids! And it seems they continue to take steps together as a unit, including getting baptized into Christianity. Ja was actually raised as a Jehovah's Witness, which few fans know! Today, he has left it behind and forged his own path in love, religion, and family. Congrats, Ja and Aisha!

Tucker Carlson & Susan Carlson

TV news personality Tucker Carlson talks about global issues all the time. But what's been going on right inside his house, all these years?

Turns out, a beautiful life with his high school gal. Susan Andrews became a Carlson long ago, all the way back in 1991. The two met while studying at St. George's School, a fancy private institution on the east coast. Her father was the headmaster, no joke!

Preppy Love

Things seem to be going exceptionally well for these two, with three daughters, one son, and a Washington DC lifestyle. Occasionally, that can get a bit rough. In 2018, their quaint family life was disturbed by a big group of activists who found their house!

Around 20 people menaced around the property spray painting anarchist symbols util the police arrived. Yikes! Luckily, everything is back to normal for this bunch in the suburbs.

Vernon Wells & Charlene Valenti

Baseball has plenty of macho men dating around, but Vernon Wells appears to be an exception. Why, he's been married to high school sweetie Charlene since 2001!

The wedding happened shortly after his major league career took off. The New York Yankees are a great day job, but Vernon always had a long lasting love he could depend on. No need to shop around: Seasons come and go, but these two always stay strong! And as it turns out, their household now include more than two.

Home Run, Honey

Today, Vernon and Charlene have two sons in middle school and high school. They currently live in Westlake, Texas. This town is actually quite close to his hometown of Arlington, where he first met his wife!

For awhile, life was topsy turvy for the family as Vernon played in a different city every few years! The season usually involved big city living, but the off season meant quiet family time down south. Best of both worlds, some might say — but today, he is retired. More time with Charlene, yes!

Jeff Daniels & Kathleen Treado

Jeff Daniels has won two Emmy Awards, and several Golden Globes, Screen Actors Guild and Tony Award nominations. But perhaps his biggest feat is his long-standing marriage. It's a story that belongs on the silver screen!

Jeff Daniels and Kathleen Treado met at their Michigan high school and were college sweethearts. Specifically, they met in the theater, where they both acted! According to Mrs. Daniels: “When we were doing musicals, the whole town was in love with him...I was always the townsperson and he was the lead.” Sounds like a fierce competition! Evidently, Kathleen won that round. They have been happily together for decades, married in 1979.

Family Resemblance

Outside of Hollywood jobs, family life for these two is always pretty busy. Jeff and Kathleen have three children together. Ben, Lucas, and Nelly, to be precise. What are they up to, these days?

It turns out that time flies. The Daniels children are already in their 30's! But many may not know that Jeff has been away from the spotlight in Michigan all this time, mainly to give his kids a wholesome upbringing. Reflecting on Michigan, Jeff shared: “It slows you down...It always reminds you when you go back into a movie or play that it’s an extra dose of special.” As Midwesterners know, it's also an extra dose of winter!

Tyler Posey & Seana Gorlick

Teen Wolf star Tyler Posey had a lot to say about Seana Gorlick: “[I knew] since I was 11, I couldn't really put it into words when I was that young but I always had this really strong connection to her.” How strong, though?

The two had been dating since middle school. In 2013, Tyler proposed to his childhood sweetheart and the two became engaged! The actor announced: "She's my biggest support, and me for her. We have the biggest respect for one another...I'm not nervous. I will be the day of though -- I don't know why, it's just gonna happen. And I'm gonna get emotional and cry and it's gonna be beautiful." Big talk, for young love?

Too Young To Know After All?

Imagine life married to a middle school crush. Hard to picture? These two thought so, too: Even though Tyler and Seana lasted an impressive 10 years together, they split up after a year of engagement. Oh no!

According to a close source: “Tyler sees that his career is at a certain peak. If he were to settle down in his real life, it would turn into slowing things down in his career...He knew that getting married would lead to a family and he was at that place at one point but he is now in a completely different space.” Sad, but not uncommon!

Sarah Palin & Todd Palin

Alaska's former Governor, the colorful Sarah Palin, married her high school sweetheart Todd Palin.

The Republicans couple walked down the aisle in 1988 and have five children together: sons Track CJ (born 1989), Trig Paxson Van (born 2008), and daughters Bristol Sheeran Marie (born 1990), Willow Bianca Faye (born 1994), and Piper Indy Grace (born 2001). Interesting names!

Strong Politics, Strong Marriage

The pair are also proud grandparents to four grandchildren. Their youngest child, Trig, was diagnosed with Down syndrome before he was born.

But despite this challenge and the pressures associated with a political career, the two seem to have a strong and supportive marriage.

Mitt & Ann Romney

Born Ann Davies, this gal met Mitt way back in elementary school. By the time both were teens, they went to brother and sister private schools and began dating formally. Around prom time, Mitt already wanted to talk about marriage. But Ann had other ideas! She encouraged her suitor to go do Mormon missionary work, and away to France he went.

Mitt returned after two and half years abroad. Ann eventually converted to the religion herself, and they got married in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1966. Although these young lovebirds had good years together, their bliss would be interrupted by disease. What happened to Ann?

Love That Lasted

Through 5 boys and many east coast political campaigns, Ann and Mitt have been two peas in a pod. But many never knew the struggles that the first lady of Massachusetts was dealing with along the way. In 1998, Ann was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.

Ann has admitted: ''When you're used to being healthy and strong and vibrant and everything and then - bang - overnight you're desperately ill, it's frightening.'' But luckily, Mitt was right there by her side. Still in love in their 70's, MS never came between them!
