Celebrity Generation: Who's The Real Star?

It's impressive enough when one talent makes it big, but two generations of stars? Fresh on the scene, a shocking number of young talents have a secret weapon at home. Celebrity parents, surprise! It's time to connect the dots and see who is lucky enough to call our favorite entertainers their personal mentors.

What is Cindy Crawford's daughter doing these days? Why is lil' Blue Ivy Carter getting so much style buzz? There's definitely more than a few hidden stories, right on social media!

Clint & Scott Eastwood

There's no argument that Clint Eastwood is a Hollywood legend. Scott Eastwood is literally the younger version of Clint, at genetically. Career-wise, is he following in his father's footsteps?

According to Scott: "To be honest, he didn’t care if I was a plumber or if I was an actor...He just said, 'Whatever you do, do it well. Be humble, work hard and be a man' I think when I was younger, like in high school or whatever, I probably thought I was too cool to follow in his footsteps or maybe I just thought girls were more important. But then I realized, 'This is a great life -- I want to do this. So I better figure it out."

And figure it out, he did – through auditions! Yes, Scott has actually formally tried out for his dad's films. He doesn't want nepotism to cloud his CV, as challenging as that may seem. He doesn't always get the roles, either: Rejected from American Sniper, this son wasn't discouraged. The younger Eastwood has successfully nabbed roles in Suicide Squad, Walk of Fame, and Overdrive, among others. Tough love, but fans would expect nothing less!

Sylvester & Sistine Stallone

Famous actor Sylvester Stallone has three daughters: Sistine, Sophia, and Scarlet. Of the three, Sistine stands out as the family's up and coming celeb. Rather than following her dad's legacy of acting, Sistine is pursuing a modeling career like her mother, Jennifer Flavin.

Sistine is making waves in the fashion world. The teenager has so far modeled for Dolce & Gabanna and was a Miss Golden Globe winner in 2015 with her sisters. She has also sat front row at shows for Prabal Gurung and Tom Ford. Apparently, she is friends with her idol - supermodel Kate Moss.

Tracee Ellis Ross & Diana Ross

Like mother, like diva. Like diva, like daughter. Both are talented and equally bonafide divas. Diana Ross will always be our ''supreme'' hero, having sung songs that are infinite in the music industry, but Tracee Ellis Ross is absolutely hilarious!

A refresher: Tracy starred in Blackish, a satire on middle-class black Americans in the white suburbs. Breaking the mold on the same tired subject matter with a fresh twist, the show acquired plenty of fans. And Tracy was a big part of that, no doubt! Mama Diana had to be proud that her daughter was a star in her own way. Music and comedy aren't in competition, but both are an art!

Lori Loughlin & Olivia Jade

Lori was one of the most in-demand women in the 80s. Starting her modeling career at the age of 11, she came to fame playing the smart and sarcastic journalist that took her time figuring out she wants Uncle Jessie in Full House.

She later married Mossimo Giannulli, founder of, well you guessed it – Mossimo!

The fashion power couple has two daughters, and Olivia is already taking after her mother. Olivia is already a Youtube starlet with more than a million subscribers on her lifestyle channel. Lori really encourages Olivia and often appears with her. Don't forget to check out the hilarious "Teaching My Mom Slang Terms of 2016".

Tom & Colin Hanks

Fun fact: Tom and Colin Hanks are not brothers, they are in fact, father and son. Just putting that out there so there would be no confusion whatsoever.

We all came to love Tom for his lead role in Forest Gump, as well as starring in other movies that made that spread his fame worldwide.

Colin had always played tiny roles in movies and series such as The House Bunny as well as a tiny appearance in teen favorite The O.C. Colin became notorious for his acting in the first season of hit show Fargo

It's amazing to see both Tom and Colin Hanks in the same career as we fans get to see both of them in action!

Kim Zolciak & Brielle Biermann

We became acquainted with Kim Zolciak, Brielle Biermann, her five other kids and Kory Biermann in Real House Wives of Atlanta.

The reality star and Kory waltzed so deeply into our hearts that they even got a spin-off "Don't Be Tardy…" which followed Kim and Kory all the way down the aisle and ever since.

Brielle, (20) is much like her mother in many aspects and sided strongly with her mother in Kim's feud with Real House Wives of Atlanta co-star Kenya Moore.

Brielle is a compulsive social-media user, leveraging Twitter and Instagram for everything from playing pranks on her mother (that sometimes backfire) or fueling the flames with Kenya.

Arnold & Patrick Schwarzenegger

Judging by his family tree, Arnold Schwarzenegger's 25-year-old son, Patrick, seems destined for a career in politics. Patrick is related to the Kennedy family through his mother, and let's not forget that his dad is the former governor of California.

Yet he's more interested in following his father's path as an actor. His first leading role was in 2018's Midnight Sun, opposite Bella Thorne. Prior to that, Patrick scored some minor roles in Hollywood movies as well as some impressive modeling campaigns. He also started his own clothing line (at age 15)!

Blythe Danner & Gwyneth Paltrow

Fun fact: Gwyneth Paltrow is the daughter of Blythe Danner! The daughter of actress Blythe Danner and Bruce Paltrow, to be exact. Gwyneth won an Oscar for her performance in Shakespeare in Love in 1998, and her mother couldn't have been prouder!

Blythe Danner has appeared on Will & Grace and with Robert DeNiro in the Meet the Parents movies. She's won quite a few awards herself, like her Tony Award for Butterflies Are Free. Blythe also won two Primetime Emmy Awards for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama for her role as Izzy Huffstodt on Showtime’s Huff. Not bad! Like mother, like daughter.

Read on to learn about the surprising heritage connections of today's stars and vintage Hollywood!

John & Jason Ritter

John, who died back in 2003 from heart problems, was the son of the very famous cowboy singer Tex Ritter. And Jason is living up to their names.

John himself was best known (and will always be known) for his role as Jack in Three's Company. He was also known for his roles in the Problem Child movie series as well as Bad Santa

Jason is a talented actor who currently stars in NBC's 'Parenthood' What a marvelous duo!

Will & Jaden Smith

Will, will always be remembered for his role as the Fresh Prince Will in the legendary 'The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air', as well as working in 'Men in Black' and other movies that will forever remain on our watch list!

We saw father and son together on a number of projects, with After Earth being the latest.

The most inspiring piece of Will and Jaden's relationship as that Will supports his son's gender fluidity one hundred percent, and that is something you rarely see as gender-bending is something becoming more noted in society.

Will & Willow Smith

Every member of the Smith family has carved their own individual path and we're here for it. Willow is the daughter of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith and the sister of Jaden Smith. Willow is now 18 but has been in the public eye since her early teens.

The immensely talented young Willow is all about the creative arts. While she's best known for her music career, she's also a songwriter, actress, and dancer. Her debut album, Ardipithecus, was released in 2015. You surely remember her most famous single, "Whip My Hair", which peaked at number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 list.

Kelsey Grammer & Spencer Grammer

It really seems like quite the life to be a Hollywood star's child. Spencer too went to work with her father Kelsey Grammer and made her debut on Cheers as a toddler. If that's the first line on your resume' how bad can your life turn out to be?

Well, she's still elbowing her way but has a huge fan base while playing Summer in the geeky and quirky Rick & Morty cartoon series, and was part of the "Greek" main cast. Other than that she's made endless guest appearances and was supposed to co-star a series with Blair Underwood, but it was canceled after three episodes. Ouch!

Kyra Sedgwick & Sosie Bacon

Kyra Sedgwick is a class act, a smart woman and someone who has a lot of insight about showbiz and the entertainment industry. Together with her husband Kevin, they tried to shield Sosie from the industry, and when she was ten, "to get it out of her system" (you know how kids are!) Kevin cast her in "Loverboy". From then on the couple had to fend off offers.

Eventually, you can fight fate, but you can't change it. Sosie appeared 4 years later alongside Kyra in four episodes of Closer and since finishing school is gradually carving her way into the industry.

Tish & Miley Cyrus

Tish Cyrus is currently an actress and producer. And if she seems like she might have familiar last name, that would be correct! Miley and Billy Ray are both in her family. But what's the relation?

Tish is the mom! Surprise, surprise. Daughter Miley had a rough period transitioning from American sweetheart to raunchy wrecking ball, but fans are now pretty comfortable with the new attitude. She has grown into an independent artist with a different voice than her father, and that seems only natural. Tish couldn't have been terribly shocked, though. She is the manager, it turns out! Mothers might always be in that role, but this one is pretty official. Many may not know that Tish even produced The Last Song, starring Miley and ex-boyfriend Liam Hemsworth. A blast from the past, at this point!

George Harrison & Dhani Harrison

George Harrison passed away in 2001, but he will always be around as part of The Beatles. As their lead guitarist, George had a major role in most songs, especially when it came to incorporating Indian instruments and Hindu spirituality into their songs.

Dhani has gone in his fathers’ footsteps and became an international musician. He has been playing in music festivals around the world with his band.

Later on, he became the face of GAP for a while, just before launching his composing career, quite successfully, for TV shows and movies. He released his first solo album, In Parallel, in October 2017.

Susan Sarandon & Eva Amurri

The most notable film that Susan has starred in is Rocky Horror Picture Show, one that has left an imprint on all of us. Eva has guest-starred on many shows, but the most notable one to write about is Friends because she starred alongside her mother.

Fun Fact: In the episode, ''The One with Joey's New Brain'', involved Susan slapping Eva. Why is that funny? Because she probably did not slap her as a child, but finally got the opportunity as an adult.

Larry & Cazzie David

Larry David is the award-winning comedy veteran behind "Seinfeld" and "Curb Your Enthusiasm". His 25-year-old daughter, Cazzie, is making a name for herself as a rising comedienne.

In 2017, Cazzie released a web series called "Eighty-Sixed", which follows the life of a technology-obsessed twenty-something as she deals with insecurities and a breakup. Many praised the show's wit and Cazzie's performance in it, and we can't wait to see what she comes up with next!

Yolanda & Gigi Hadid

Yolanda and daughter Gigi Hadid may be separated by a few years, but these two still have plenty in common. Both unforgettable faces in the arts, fans will attest. Their specialties are a bit different, though!

Yolanda is a well-known TV personality, as well as a former model. Like her mother, Gigi is a model. But she has also dabbled in the music biz, most notably in How Deep Is Your Love with Calvin Harris and Disciples. Viewers probably first noticed her in the mainstream as the beautiful muse in that video, and she has only become more recognizable from there: Runways all over the world seek her services these days. A hypnotizing beauty, no less!

Kim Kardashian & Kris Jenner

What makes Kim and Kris truly identical is their love for drama and the need for the spotlight!

Although most people find it annoying how Kim rose to fame through her leaked sex tape, we find it very entertaining to watch the show as the girls go through the funniest, most dramatic instances. Our favorite line on the show is Kourtney's famous line, "Literally Kim, you're being so rude right now."

Vanessa Paradis & Lily-Rose Depp

Lilly Rose-Depp has recently broken out into the spotlight, becoming a model just like her mother.

Vanessa actually became successful from her first hit single at the age of fourteen titled Jo Le Taxi, and had, later on, went to represent the world-famous Chanel. Fun factLily joined her mother on her album titled 'Bliss'.

Kate Moss & Lila Grace Moss

Young Lila Grace Moss has already appeared on a cover of Vogue Magazine, steps ahead of her competition. Did she have any special connections along the way, though?

Indeed, she did! Mom Kate Moss made no shortage of lists in her day, including "50 Sexiest Women of All Time" and "100 Sexiest Women of 1995". This household name made appearances on a myriad of magazine covers, and now she is advising her daughter on how to do the same. Kate continues to strut her stuff on the runways, in the meantime. As they say: Like Moss mother, like Moss daughter!

Kelsey Grammer & Greer Grammer

Kelsey Grammer has seven children. We know Spencer, his eldest, from TV and film. This is Kandace Greer Grammer, born in 1992 she has also entered into the entertainment world.

She was even a beauty queen. She is known best for being Lissa Miller in the series Awkward.

Andie Macdowell & Rainey Qualley

Rainey, born in 1990, is a famous singer, but she got her talent from her parents. Dad, Paul Qualley, is a model, and mom Andie, well, you know this amazing and funny actor.

As a singer, Rainey is doing well, but she also does some modeling here and there, with her last campaign being a Chanel girl. The singer splits her time between Los Angeles and Nashville. She recently released a new single called Sweet Spot which features her boyfriend Miles Garber.

Zoe Kravitz & Lisa Bonet

Anyone can see that Zoe and Lisa both give off a distinct energy. Peaceful and smooth, for sure. But why are these two ladies so cool, calm, and collected?

Maybe it's all that success under their belts! What truly brought Lisa into the limelight was her role as Denise Huxtable on The Cosby Show. Zoe has acted in many movies and shows and is also a musician. Fun fact: Both of Zoe's parents are half Ashkenazi Jewish and half African American! That's a lot of diverse inspiration, for sure. A fascinating, family, no doubt. Dad Lenny is the least of it!

Meryl Streep & Mamie, Grace Gummer

Everybody loves Meryl. This woman is an icon in films, political activism, and humanitarian work. Frankly, she exceeds fan expectations for a public figure! Less is known about her family life, but she's been pretty busy there as well. What are her grown kids up to, these days?

What are the odds? Daughters Mamie and Grace are actresses like their mom. They have regularly worked in Hollywood for years, from series to miniseries to feature films. Meryl is famous for saying: “You don't have to be famous. You just have to make your mother and father proud of you.” It looks like her daughter have managed to accomplish both, haven't they?

Alan & Robin Thicke

Fans adore Robin Thicke for his soulful music and dedication to the arts. No blurred lines, on that one! But not everyone knows his famous family history. Who was the famous father of this crooner? Might it have been the similarly named Alan Thicke, from Growing Pains?

Sadly Alan died of a heart attack a few years ago. Robin reflects: “When my father passed, I became the patriarch of my family. My young 20-year-old brother, he needed a big brother, and it just felt like now I had to take it onto my shoulders to be a much better, more focused, man than I was before." Sad times, but the Thicke family survives and thrives together!

Judd & Maude Apatow

Maude Apatow is the daughter of the hilarious and talented couple Judd Apatow and Leslie Mann. It's no surprise, then, that Maude is following in her parents' footsteps with her blooming comedy and acting career.

Maude's film career began in 2007, when she appeared in the 2007 comedy "Knocked Up", which was written by her dad. Since then, she has appeared in many movies such as "Pitch Perfect 2" and "The 40-Year-Old Virgin". She's also had a recurring role on "Girls." Her most recent accomplishment was a role in the critic-favorite thriller "Assassination Nation". You go, girl!

Karen & Abbey Clancy

Abbey Clancy is truly a shining diamond in the world of modeling, as she has appeared on over fifty cover pages of British and American fashion magazines as well as dominated many runways.

Karen is more famous for being Abbey's mother, and we give her much credit for taking on the role!

Damon Wayans & Damon Jr.

While this might be confusing for many, Damon and Damon Jr. Wayans are in fact, not brothers. They are related, though. Which one is father, and which one is son?

Yes, it is hard ot tell based on faces. The names are pretty clear, though. Damon featured his son Damon Jr. in his sketch comedy called 'The Underground'. The duo has shared their hilarity with the whole world watching from a flat-screen for ages, and both seem to find work in the business regularly. Fun fact: Damon and Damon Jr have a 23-year difference between them! Shocking stuff, and it's not because of botox.

Chad & Steven R. McQueen

Steven R. McQueen is an actor and model who is the son of Chad McQueen. That makes Steven the grandson of legendary actor Steve McQueen. Steve’s mother later married NHL hockey star Luc Robitaille, who is now the GM of the Los Angeles Kings.

Steve took the initial “R” to honor his famous stepfather. McQueen’s roots also extend to the Iglesias family. Enrique Iglesias Jr. is his second cousin. Steven was seen on The Vampire Diaries and Chicago Fire.

Donald & Kiefer Sutherland

Quality father-son duos are hard to come by these days with so much nepotism in the biz. But few protest that Donald and Kiefer have united their powers of talent in order to play father and son. It's almost like casting destiny!

Kiefer actually didn't know that much about his father’s acting work, despite millions who did. He explained: “Growing up, I didn’t have much contact with my father. And I couldn’t go to the movie theatre to see MASH or 1900, or Fellini’s Casanova – they were adult films." So true, they were!

But then, a discovery: "Then when I was 18 they started bringing out video tapes and I sat down and watched his films...They were extraordinary. I called him up and I actually cried on the phone, I was so embarrassed that I didn’t know what an important actor he was. And I considered myself a serious actor...So that was very embarrassing and I apologized for that and he was so sweet, he said ‘Oh my God, that’s okay, it’s not your fault, how would you know?’”

These days, both are accomplished actors with a great appreciation for each other. As they should be!

Kim Basinger & Ireland Baldwin

Ireland Baldwin is the daughter of actors Kim Basinger and Alec Baldwin. Her parents’ acrimonious split made worldwide headlines as the two actors battled it out in nasty custody battles. Ireland is now modeling just like Kim and started in 2013. She has struggled with addiction and most recently dated rapper Angel Haze.

Alec recently wrote a memoir in which he lamented that public incidents involving his daughter had caused her permanent damage. Ireland made the cover of Vanity Fair as an "It Girl" in 2013, and also appeared in the film Grudge Match the same year; in the film, she plays the younger version of Kim's character.

Jerry Hall & Georgia May Jagger

Georgia Jagger is the daughter of supermodel Jerry Hall and the Rolling Stones’ Mick Jagger. And if that wasn't enough of a taste of the entertainment biz, Georgia became a model in 2008!

The fierce, gap-toothed beauty has modeled from designers like Versace, Vivienne Westwood, H&M, Hudson Jeans, and Chanel. What's more, Georgia also appeared in the closing ceremonies of the London Olympic Games in 2012, as a representative of the British fashion industry. That's no small career, in such a competitive business. So many have tried, and failed! But clearly, the industry felt this was a special face in a crowded field, above and beyond her famous name. You Can't Always Get What You Want, unless you're Georgia May Jagger!

Chris Elliott & Abby Elliott

When Abby Elliott joined the cast of Saturday Night Live, she wasn’t the first person in her family to work for Lorne Michaels. In fact, she’s not even the second person in the family to make it on SNL! How can that be?

There's quite a genetic line here, starting with grandfather Bob Elliott. He was a cast-member in 1978. And then, father Chris was a Not Ready for Primetime player in 1994-1995. Abby has carried on the tradition with a slew of silly impressions, including Zooey Deschanel, Chloe Sevigny, and Rachel Maddow during her time on SNL. As her career continues, she now also appears on Bravo's Odd Mom Out. Way to go, Elliot family!

Ice Cube & O’Shea Jackson Jr.

The only difference between Ice Cube and O'Shea Jackson Jr. is three birthmarks on the upper right cheek. Ice Cube and his son O'Shea are both rappers, as well as actors. Ice Cube started out as a part of N.W.A, and then became a successful solo artist and later on a movie star.

O'Shea starred in a biopic film in 2015 titled Straight Outta Compton in which he portrayed his father. Talk about luck when you can resemble your father and act in his character, especially if your father is as great as Ice Cube!

Christie Brinkley & Sailor Cook

Three-time consecutive Sports Illustrated cover girl Christie Brinkley has made a successful living off her talent.

So it makes perfect sense that she spawned a daughter to carry the torch. She has also appeared on Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition in 2017.

Tina & Beyonce Knowles

Queen Bey dominates the stage, but her mother slays in her own way. Namely, in fashion! For true blue Knowles fans, Tina's secret talent has become a lot more known these days. Some might even say it's not a secret at all!

Fans probably wonder just how the singer chooses her famous outfits. According to Tina: "Beyonce knows what looks good on her and what doesn't. She likes fitted dresses. They flatter her curvy figure. Baggy tops don't work. But for everyday wear, she really prefers jeans and a fitted jacket." Tina Knowles clearly knows her daughter. It must be nice to have a stylist and mom, all in one!

Jamie & Corinne Foxx

Corinne Foxx is a multi-threat just like her dad, Jamie Foxx. In her young life, she has already made a name for herself in the modeling industry with campaigns for Ralph Lauren, Dolce & Gabanna, Keneth Cole, and others. She served as Miss Golden Globe in 2016 and is also an up-and-coming actress.

But that's not all! Corinne is musically talented, and is DJ-ing for FOX's musical game show "Beat Shazam". She has also appeared on "Sweet/Vicious". Acting, modeling, DJ-ing... There's nothing Corinne can't do!

Melanie Griffith & Dakota Johnson

Dakota may play a curious, submissive brunette in 50 Shades of Grey, but she actually inherited her mother's screen presence. Few connect the two, since their last names are different, but mom is well known in her own right. Who could that be, in all of Hollywood?

Why, it's none other than Melanie Griffith! Fans may not know that Dakota also has a famous dad. Back in the day, Melanie was married to Antonio Banderas. Hint: That's how this lovely daughter happened!

Mel is actually very close with all her daughters including Dakota. On social media, she posted a cuddle picture together, with a heartfelt caption: “Stella Del Carmen Banderas Griffith. You are the most beautiful young woman inside and out. I love you with all of my heart and soul! Please don’t ask me to take this photo down!” So far, so good. Photo still up!

Goldie Hawn & Kate Hudson

Many people would either suspect it or not, but Kate and Goldie are more than just mother and daughter. They're super close in their relationship as well. Kate was raised by her mother following a divorce, and also was the only girl out of her siblings.

Goldie is more known for her past roles in hit films such as Cactus Flower as well as Private Benjamin. Kate is more famous for her roles in recent movies such as Almost Famous, You Me and Dupree, as well as our favorite How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days

Talk about woman power and the need to stick together in a broken home and a dual career!

Quincy Jones, Rashida Jones & Peggy Lipton

Talented actress and writer Rashida Jones has two famous parents. Her father is Quincy Jones, the legendary music producer credited with inventing the Motown sound. Rashida’s mother is model, TV, and film actress Peggy Lipton. What a mix!

After several seasons on NBC's The Office, Rashida Jones now stars in Angie Tribeca on TBS. The show spoofs the police procedural genre. She'll also co-write Toy Story 4 for Disney. Successful, indeed — but did her parents support it all?

Apparently, very much. Rashida explains: "My mom was really, really incredible and generous through this process. My parents are so close, and that really makes it easier, because it all comes from a place of love. My mom is so empathetic towards my dad, but it also was incredibly raw for her to go through what she went through and admit that the relationship didn’t work out. But because they still know and love each other, I think that really helped."

Divorce is never easy, but these two made it work for Rashida! Very impressive, Quincy and Peggy.

Marcheline Bertrand & Angelina Jolie

Marcheline is more famous for her work in the humanitarian as well as political fields, although she has acted in a few shows. Angelina Jolie is incredible in her work, having played in so many movies and starring that it is too much of a list we could write out.

Our most favorite, however, is when she played Lisa in Girl Interrupted; it took a lot of talent to portray someone so complex and raw.

Christie Brinkley & Sailor Brinkley Cook

Christine Brinkley has been modeling for decades, hitting three consecutive ''Sports Illustrated'' covers in one year, 1981. She has also appeared on covers of ''Cover Girl'' magazine and has obtained high prestige as a model.

Sailor has done some modeling herself, leaving her mother extremely proud.

It is truly a beautiful sight to see when a young girl can follow in her mother's footsteps without failing and falling. We truly wish Christine and Sailor a lot of good luck in their futures, and hope for a collaboration very soon!

Demi Moore & Rumer Willis

Bruce Willis is Rumer's father. But he is also a classic actor, having starred in Die Hard, Pulp Fiction, as well as The Sixth Sense. And mom? Demi is more notorious for her heartbreaking role in Ghost co-starring with Patrick Swayze.

Rumer has followed her parents path just a bit, so far. She has acted in movies like The House Bunny as well as the hit television show, Pretty Little Liars. It's hard to miss the fact that she has a famous father, when the credits roll. That Willis name is right there! But Demi is obviously a big part of the story, too. Mom and daughter are very close, to this day. A Hollywood family, if there ever was one!

Kate Beckinsale & Lily Mo Sheen

Kate and Lily are both actresses, and both share the same superstar charisma. We loved Kate in the Underworld franchise and of course from Much Ado About Nothing, and Serendipity.

Lily is more known for her roles as a child actress in well-acclaimed movies like Click, in which time is frozen by Adam Sandler, and he can control it with a remote.

Martin & Charlie Sheen

It was the quote heard round the world: "I got tiger blood, man. My brain... fires in a way that is — I don't know, maybe not from this particular terrestrial realm." Charlie may have been making some wild claims there, but he does actually have famous blood — and in this very realm!

Charlie and Martin Sheen are both renowned actors, but they have focused their careers in different directions. Serious and funny are both in one family, right here! These two are nothing alike, are they?

Fans will always love Charlie for his starring days in Two and a Half Men as a commitment-fearing womanizer. But what about dad? Martin currently plays Robert, a new openly gay divorcee in Netflix's Grace and Frankie. Talk about polar opposites! Frankly, Martin Sheen has come a long way since Francis Ford Coppola's Apocalypse Now. Epic war film? Check. Comedy: In progress now!

Phil Collins & Lily Collins

Musician and Genesis frontman Phil Collins is the father of Lily Collins, an actress, and model. Her mother is American Jill Tavelman.

Raised in Los Angeles, Collins has been acting since she was a child. Collins got her degree in journalism at USC and wrote for Teen Vogue, Seventeen magazine and the Los Angeles Times.

After she turned to model, she was a model for Chanel. She won a Golden Globe for 2016’s Rules Don’t Apply.

John Aniston & Jennifer Aniston

John Aniston is a Greek-American actor who plays the iconic villain Victor Kiriakis on the NBC daytime drama series Days of Our Lives. Aniston is the only actor who has played Victor, beginning in July 1985 and his role continues to this day.

His daughter with Nancy Dow, an American actress, and model,  is TV and movie star, Jennifer Aniston. Jennifer’s godfather is Telly Savalas, a Greek-American actor who is John’s best friend.

Fun fact: John Aniston's real last name at birth was Anastasakis, but the family changed their name when they immigrated to America from Greece.

Robin Wright & Dylan Penn

Robin Wright is one of the few actors who transitioned from soap operas to film. Her debut came in the magical Princess Bride and has continued all the way to the recent Wonder Woman.

Dylan Penn (born in 1991), just had to be a model. Her father, Sean Penn, is one of the most recognized actors in film history. She posed for Tony Duran in 2014 and a week later got a contract with Premier Model Management. Don't think she took the easy way out though.

Before modeling, she delivered pizzas, worked as a waitress and as a hostess, interned at an advertising agency and was a freelance screenplay editor. That work ethic (she probably got from home).

Minnie Riperton & Maya Rudolph

Singer Minnie Riperton was made famous by her hit song from 1975 Lovin’ You especially because of her five-octave operatic soprano voice in that song. For her voice, she was also known as the Queen of the whistle register.

Her daughter, Maya Rudolph, started out as a singer in an alternative rock band called The Rentals. When she joined The Groundlings improv troupe she quickly found herself being good and being funny. So Saturday Night Live was an obvious place for her.

Donna Karan & Gabby Karan

While Donna is an entrepreneur in design and fashion, Gabby owns her own restaurant, Tutor il Giorno. Check out Gabby's restaurant in NYC, and have yourselves a big feast of world-class Italian food.

Then go to the closest DKNY store and buy yourself something fashionable. Both of the Karans will absolutely thank you!

Bette Midler & Sophie Von Haselberg

Bette Midler is one of Hollywood's divas in line with Meryl Streep, Geena Davis, Barbara Streisand, Sigourney Weaver and a handful of others. Like everything else Bette created, Sophie is in her image and something beyond imagination.

Sophie is not only identical to her mother in appearance, but she also shares the same temperament and vibe as well. Meanwhile, she starred in Woody Allen's Irrational Man, and Allen said about her,

"She’s wonderful. She came in with a lot of other women that read and she’s the spitting image of her mother and she was just good... She projects intelligence because she’s intelligent."

And she is! She studied sociology and East Asian studies at Yale University and later on studied at Yale University again, but this time at Yale drama school. Talk about loaded with talent!

Kimora Lee & Ming Lee Simmons

Model Kimora Lee has a successful career on and off the runway. She's the founder of Baby Phat and Baby Phat Girlz, fashion brands for which her two daughters, Ming and Aoki, modeled as kids.

While Ming Lee Simmons continues to model for her mom from time to time, she's also pursuing modeling full time. She's also finding success on Instagram, where her pics rack up thousands of likes.

Cindy Crawford & Kaia Gerber

It would be hard to argue that Cindy Crawford was not America's it-girl in the 1990's, at least for a time. One of the most recognizable faces in the world, this former supermodel has a lot to be proud of. These days, she is a supermom!

One of the most beautiful models to walk the Earth now has one of the most beautiful daughters in the industry. Daughter Kaia Gerber is following her mother's footsteps as an up and coming model, and critics actually love her! Kaia has developed her own following, and her own walk. There is a striking resemblance, to be sure. Not the average gene pool, by any means!

Kristina Pimenova

Born in 2007, this Russian young one already has a thriving model and acting career. Daughter of former Russia footballer Ruslan Pimenov and Glikeriya Shirokova, a former model herself, she started modeling before the age of four! Some people would call her parents pushy.

Pushy? In 2013 Kristina already won her first gold medal for rhythmic gymnastics. In 2015 she appeared on the cover of Vogue Kids, and in 2017 she is expected to make her Hollywood debut alongside Corbin Bernsen in "The Russian Bride." The family resides in the US.
