It is a local place to cherish and should give you a very good idea of what life is like in modern Seoul. You can enjoy some great foods here, too, so if you want to enjoy typical Korean street food this is a good place to begin.
The Cheonggyecheon Canal
If you want to see a stunning canal that can rival anything seen in cities like Amsterdam, come here. This gorgeous canal was only truly opened as it is now in 2005, but since then it has become an essential part of the Seoul city design. You can find a large number of recreational activities along the canal, too, making it a great place to visit for food, fun, and retail shopping.
