This dress is trying so hard to be fashionable, but it just does not make the cut. And if a dress cannot look good on Halle Berry who happens to be one of the sexiest woman in the world, it cannot look good on anyone.

Halle is beautiful and radiant, and won an Academy award in 2002, but not for the dress. This Eli Saab number doesn’t work.
While the colour of the dress is beautiful and really complements Halle's unique complexion, the diagonal seam around her waist is wrong and the contrast between the top and bottom is more of an eyesore than a statement

Started from the bottom, now she is strutting her stuff down the Tony Red Carpets. Former cheerleader for the Nicks and New Jersey Nets, Keltie Knight has come a long way and is now both a well-known TV personality as well as fashion icon.

But being a fashion icon takes a lot of risks, and here it clearly did not pay off. While Knight is known for her activity in PETA against the use of animal fur, and perhaps her outfit here was meant to be some sort of cultural statement, it clearly got lost in translate on. The transparent pantsuit looks almost clown-like and is a big no no!

She reigns as Cookie Lyon in Empire, and she clearly reigns on the Red Carpet too. Taraji Penda Henderson is as impressive as they get. From her emotional performances, her writing abilities, and her influential and outspoken personality, we just cannot get enough of her.

It was the year she added to her winning streak by winning an award for playing Margret Thatcher in The Iron Lady, although we are not sure about he choice of dress, it makes sense that she basically dressed up as an award herself!

She is quite a new face on the block, but is slowly making waves with her visual art and film making abilities. Miranda July was included in the list of top filmmakers in Filmmaker Magazine's "25 New Faces of Indie Film" in 2004, won a Caméra d'Or prize in The Cannes Festival 2005, and a Special Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival, so clearly her voice is appreciated.

She always stands for something, even on the Red Carpet as you can see by the blue ribbon she wore on this Red Carpet to raise awareness for prostate cancer. However, it was lost among the bids that decorated this odd transparent dress. We can all agree this look is more awkward than anything else, although her blue eyes do pop!

Her eye-catching dress featured the city of Jerusalem, and mainly the temple mount. As you can guess, the internet went wild with discussions about this look, some criticizing, some applauding. However, we are not focussing on the political aspect, and while it is a cool idea to incorporate a city on your dress, this whole over-the top ensemble with the mismatched top and bottom just does not work!

It truly is a stab to our fashion faith when we see supposed fashion icon Sarah Jessica Parker rock up in something like this! She is on fire, and not in the good sense. Honestly it looks more like she is part of a crazy costume parade than a red carpet!

Although the dress itself is not too bad, the stripe to the left should have started at the waist rather than the top adorning the poppy flower. Her bracelets are good for the dress, but the elephant in the room is the fiery tiara.

Sharon Stone is a woman who has been making waves since she came on the scene. Who could forget her brilliant performance in Basic Instinct, for which she won a Golden Globe and shot to the status of a sex symbol.

This puffy dress she wore in 1995 is very different from the usual skin baring numbers she used to wear, and was clearly an ode to a wedding dress. She was in fact., planning to be a bride at this point as she was engaged to Bob Wagner but the two soon called it off and she returned the engagement ring to Wagner via FedEx! Clearly pre-empting your wedding with a wedding dress of this kind is not always good luck!

She later hatched from the egg on stage to perform Born This Way… we doubt that is how she was born, but we do admire the artistic license!!

Whenever you take fashion risks, it is a hit or miss, and this was so much of a miss it was almost okay!
Although she missed out on an Academy Award the year before, she made sure to capture everyone’s attention with this dress which literally looked like she had a giant dead swan wrapper around her body. You don’t get odder than that.

It looks something like a cross between a traditional Bavarian outfit and a milkmaid. The only redeeming factor is that it shows off her very long and very enviable legs.

She is the daughter of Richard Linklater and a newcomer to the Hollywood world, making her first debut in her father’s film in 2001 and killing it when she played Samantha Evens in the movie Boyhood which garnered a fortune of praise. She is also not a stranger to trouble, in 2016 she was arrested for cocaine possession and DUI.
She got off lightly with 3 years' probation and the DUI charge was dropped.

We hope that she learns from this, after all she is young, beautiful and has so much to give. If she doesn’t clean up her act, her career could be a lot like this dress- a lot of potential, but it just does not come together.

I don’t think any place is the right place to wear something as trashy and revealing as Amber’s outfit at the 2014 MTV awards, especially not the red carpet! Who knows what went wrong since Rose is first and foremost a model and it is literally her job to look fashionable and classy.

The only thing this naked chain dress is good for is revealing her figure, which we admit is as close to perfect as possible, but there are more tasteful ways to go about it, and this is just not one of them. A complete fashion fail.
