What's Up With Johnny Depp?

Entertainment |

During the weekend, A picture of Johnny Depp surfaced online and the actor was nothing but a shadow of himself. The actor/musician who is currently on tour with his band posed for a photo with a fan and the picture got online.

Johnny, 54, looked so frail and recognizable. A lot of people argued that it wasn’t Johnny Depp because the Pirates of the Caribbean actor looked sick and weary which is way off the handsome Johnny we are used to seeing on screen.

Of course, this doesn’t mean the transformation isn’t in preparation for an entirely new film which requires Depp to alter his appearance for the demands of the role, but it seems highly unlikely the film is for Richard Says Goodbye.

While some fans expressed concern over the pictures other fans believe that his new look is as a result of an upcoming movie he is to play called Richard says goodbye. Details of the movie is still sketchy but According to an online magazine called Coming soon, he has been filming for Richard says goodbye since July 2017.

While most people believe that this could be according to the demands of the new movie he is filming for which Depp has to alter his appearance for. We doubt this because Johnny appeared in images at film premieres between last July and this year and he appeared very thin. According to some fans that attended Murder On The Orient Express, they said it looked as if Johnny was being held up by security personnel's because he did not look healthy and fit.

Some fans are not buying this story with some accusing him of not taking proper care of his health and drinking too much.

A source close to Johnny rebuked claims he was drinking too much or he was sick but there has been no official statement from his camp about his recent look. This development comes barely few weeks after a heartbreaking image of Shaolin Temple star Jet Li hit the internet few weeks ago.

The actor who has lost so much weight and looks entirely different is rumored to be battling hyperthyroidism. An illness which occurs when “the thyroid gland makes more thyroid hormones than your body needs.” These hormones “control the way the body uses energy, so they affect nearly every organ in your body, even the way your heart beats.”
