While Star Wars The Clone Wars has finally come to an end in the seventh season on Disney +, Disney has finally announced their new animation is coming to the streaming service next year with Star Wars The Bad Batch.
Here is how Disney’s official announcement describes the show:
"The series covers the elite and experimental clones of the Bad Batch that were first introduced in the Clone Wars. They find their way around in a rapidly changing galaxy in the aftermath of the Clone War. Members of the Bad Batch are a rare group of clones who were genetically made from their brothers in the Clone Army with each possessing an exceptional skill which makes them extremely effective soldiers and a formidable crew. During the Clone War era, they will handle adventurous missions while they struggle to stay on top to find a new purpose."
Star Wars The Clone the Gramd Poo bah, Dave Filoni, will the executive producer the series while Brad Rau of Star Wars The Clone Wars and Star Wars Resistance will serve as the supervising director with Resistance’s Jennifer Corbett working as head writer.
